Illinois River Valley 2013 Enhanced

A few weeks ago I loaded this image.  Yesterday I discovered an editing program called, “Aviary,” (it’s free) and was astounded at its strength.  My original post didn’t even show the grass in the lower left hand corner…let alone its color.  It sharpened the picture and allowed me to bring forth greater color and tone.  For my friends, this editing program is for phones and tablets.  “I am not being paid to push this program!”

Foggy Spring Morning

I believe this was shot in the Spring of 2016 but perhaps this Spring. Remember, my Point and Shoot’s date and time stamp feature has stopped working.  It’s set, forever, on December 1979.

Looking down the Trail

Bike Trail 1

I shot this image on October 4, 2011 – pulled it from my archives. Some of the leaves, as you can see, were beginning to turn to their fall colors.  You can barely see two bike riders moving down the trail.  Right now, in Central Illinois, the greens are starting to fade a bit.  Quite a while before the beautiful fall appears.
